This class caters to adults who want to learn the foundations of acting for Film/TV or those experienced actors looking to gain more confidence in front of the camera. We focus on learning about the story, and the character, and using the script as a tool to make our performances on camera truthful and connected. Students learn the importance of camera technique, the use of framing and angles, and the incorporation of physicality to build a character that will really LIVE in each moment of the scene. Coach Lisa has built a reputation among casting, agents, and students alike as one of the top coaches in British Colombia's Film and TV industry! With a BA in Theatre and Film Studies and a Diploma in Musical Theatre, she is a busy working actor and now producer that has a playful way of training actors like athletes, preparing them to play! The bottom line is ...she gets results! From beginning to end, she supports her actors while they navigate through the various stages of their acting careers in hopes to help them realize their own potential as artists and storytellers.
